Lisa Padmore
IFAC Board Member
Lisa Padmore, FCPA, FCGA was appointed a member of the IFAC Board in November 2018. She was nominated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB). Ms. Padmore previously served on the IFAC Professional Accountancy Organization (PAO) Development Committee, nominated by CPA Canada.
After 30 years, Ms. Padmore has stepped down from her position as an Assurance Partner with over 25 years of experience at EY in the Consumer Products and Power & Utilities Sectors in the Caribbean. Previously, she was responsible for the implementation of audit methodology changes for the firm across the Caribbean region and the learning curriculum for auditors, from recruits to partners.
Ms. Padmore joined the ICAB Council in 2014 and served as Secretary to Council from June 2014 to May 2015. She became the 4th female President the following year, serving from June 2015 to May 2017. As ICAB Immediate Past President, Ms. Padmore has also assumed an additional role as the alternate director to the Board of Directors of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Caribbean. Ms. Padmore was also the Vice-Chair of the Barbados Chapter of Canadian CPAs from 2016 to 2018.
Ms. Padmore has a B.Comm from McGill University, Montreal, Canada and is a Canadian CPA.

Scott Hansen
Director, Policy & Global Engagement
As Director, Policy & Global Engagement, Scott Hanson is responsible for coordinating IFAC’s engagement strategy with global organizations and non-accountancy stakeholders. Mr. Hanson also leads IFAC’s policy and advocacy related to anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and economic crime, and oversees IFAC’s engagement in donor-funded capacity building initiatives.
Mr. Hanson began his career in markets supervision roles at NYSE Regulation and FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in New York, before transitioning into international regulatory policy at FINRA in Washington, DC.
Mr. Hanson then worked in regulatory policy within the European System of Financial Supervision at the Central Bank of Ireland (Dublin), touching on diverse policy areas across the Bank and leading the establishment of the Central Bank of Ireland’s Innovation Hub.
Mr. Hanson holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago, a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and has been to over 80 countries.

Angela Foyle
Financial Services Partner, BDO
Angela joined BDO in 2005 and is a financial services partner.
She trained at Price Waterhouse and has spent time with Linklaters and KMPG. Angela has specialised in the financial sector since qualification and has advised on a wide range of financial sector issues. Angela is Head of Financial Crime at BDO LLP and is also the Nominated Officer for the firm. She has been a member of its AML team since 2007. Angela has an MA from University of Dublin, Trinity College.

Brian Friedrich
IESBA Member
Brian Friedrich became a member of the IESBA in 2018. He chairs the Board’s Technology Working Group and eCode Advisory Group.
Mr. Friedrich is a principal in a research, standards, and education consultancy firm that has shaped his work experience for over 20 years. The firm focuses on building institutional capacity and developing strategic, policy, program, governance, and ethics guidance for established and emerging professional and regulatory organizations. He has co-authored numerous World Bank publications in the area of competency-based education, training, and certification in accountancy. Previous to this, he worked in education for CPA Canada (then CGA Canada) and in the Greater Vancouver auditing practice of KPMG LLP.
Mr. Friedrich has served on CPA Canada’s Public Trust Committee (PTC, and one of its legacy predecessors) since 2011, chairing its Exposure Draft Working Group from 2014 to 2017. The PTC is responsible for overseeing the regulatory structures and processes across Canadian jurisdictions and helps ensure Canada meets or exceeds international standards. He is also a director on the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and sits on its Audit Committee. Mr. Friedrich served for 10 years on the board of the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC, which is the provincial regulatory body for CPAs in British Columbia, Canada. This tenure spanned the merger of the three accounting bodies, during which he chaired one of the bodies and served as Co-Chair of the CPA Transitional Steering Committee. He also chaired the Ethics and Discipline committees for a number of years, including as a Tribunal Chair.
Mr. Friedrich holds a Master of Education (UBC), Master of Laws (York Osgoode), and a Chartered Director designation (McMaster). He became a Canadian CPA in 2001, and was awarded fellowship in 2011 and a life membership in 2014 for his service to the profession in education, ethics, and governance.

Saadiyah Adam
IESBA Member
Saadiya Adam became a member of the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants in January 2021. She was nominated by the independent audit regulator and standard setter in South Africa, the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA).
Ms. Adam is the Senior Professional Manager for Standards at the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA) in South Africa. She is also the Secretariat to the Committee for Auditor Ethics (CFAE) and the Committee for Auditing Standards (CFAS), standards- setting statutory committees established by South Africa’s Auditing Profession Act. The CFAE is responsible for determining what constitutes improper conduct by registered auditors, including developing the IRBA Code of Professional Conduct. The CFAS is responsible for developing, maintaining and adoption of auditing standards and other pronouncements.
Ms. Adam is a chartered accountant in South Africa—CA (SA)— a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a Certified Ethics Officer with The Ethics Institute of Southern Africa.

Michael Grant
Senior Director- Learning Innovation & Assessment (AICPA)
Michael McKenzie Grant has worked for the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants for 9 years and is the Director of Learning Design and Development, where he leads the production of interactive training courses for global users in the accounting and finance profession. Throughout his career, Michael has helped lead L&D teams, and instructionally designed and developed courses for Fortune 500 companies. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Graphic Communications Technology from North Carolina A&T State University and his Master’s Degree in Digital Production Arts from Clemson University. He has presented his research and showcased learning solutions at a variety of industry conferences globally.
Michael thrives in fast-paced results-driven environments that foster collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Away from the office, Michael can be found cheering on his favorite sports teams, shooting pool, or creatively configuring building blocks with his 4-year-old little princess, McKaylie.

Bryan Morgan
Interactive Learning & Innovation Designer (AICPA)
Bryan Morgan has worked for the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants for over 8 years as a Learning Designer within Learning Design and Development (LD&D). He has developed and produced award winning interactive exercises and is currently developing augmented and virtual reality experiences for the accounting profession. Bryan has worked to refine his craft, whether it’s his fine art or creative touches to learning design. Bryan has produced a variety of interactive content for LD&D during his tenure with the Association, ranging from interactive exercise, simulation labs, motion graphics, animated videos, gamified learning games and AR/VR apps.
Bryan is a family man at heart. He has been married over 22 years to his wonderful wife, Catherine, and enjoys spending time with her and his four children. Being born and raised in NC, he is an avid Panthers and NC State Wolfpack fan.

Laurie Endsley
IESBA Member
Laurie C. Endsley joined as a Member of IESBA in January 2020, after being nominated by PwC. Ms. Endsley is a partner with PwC and has worked for more than 30 years as an auditor and attorney. Laurie is based in the New York office and serves as Deputy Global General Counsel and Global Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer for the PwC network. Laurie is a member of the PwC Network Risk & Quality Executive and in that capacity leads the PwC Network Monitoring Group. Laurie is also a member of the Global Regulatory Policy Board.

Vania Borgerth
IESBA Member
Vania Borgerth was appointed to the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) in January 2021 as a self-nominated public member.
Ms. Borgerth has served as the Head of Brazilian Network for Integrated Reporting since 2012 and is a member of the Expert Panel of Accounting for Sustainability – A4S. She is a Board Member at SHIFT Project and serves as the Brazilian Institute for Corporate Governance’s representative at the International Integrated Reporting Council. She is a Member of the International Standards for Accounting and Reporting, (an arm of UNCTAD) and is the former Head Accountant at the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) – responsible for promoting transparency best practices, such as international accounting and auditing standards, corporate governance and the Integrated Reporting both in Brazil and abroad (1992-2020).
Ms. Borgerth is also the former Brazilian representative at the Advisory Council of the IFRS (2015-2020) and the Consultative and Advisory Groups of the IAASB – International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board(2010-2019) and IESBA- International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (2015-2019).
Ms. Borgerth is a PhD student at FUCAPE Business School, where she is also a lecturer.

Kevin Dancey
Chief Executive Officer, IFAC
Kevin Dancey, CM, FCPA, FCA became IFAC’s Chief Executive Officer in January 2019.
Mr. Dancey has a long history of leadership in the accountancy profession as well as in public service. As Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants President and CEO, Mr. Dancey led the Canadian accountancy profession’s unification, becoming CPA Canada’s first President and CEO after the merger. His experience also includes serving as the Assistant Deputy Minister, Tax Policy, at Finance Canada (1993-1995), on the Canadian Auditor General Panel of Senior Advisors (2006-2015) and as an Auditing and Assurance Standards Oversight Committee member (2017-2018) and CCAF-FCVI Inc. board member (2008-2013).
Mr. Dancey’s international accountancy experience includes the Public Interest Oversight Board (2017-2018), the IFAC board (2006-2012) and the Global Accounting Alliance (2006-2016), where he was also Chair from 2008 to 2012.
Prior to joining the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Mr. Dancey was PwC’s Canadian Senior Partner and CEO and was a PwC Global Leadership Team member from 2001-2005. He was national tax practice leader for Coopers & Lybrand before the merger with Pricewaterhouse.
Mr. Dancey currently chairs Finance Canada’s Departmental Audit Committee and is on the Advisory Board of the CPA Canada Martin Family Initiative, which mentors Canadian indigenous youth, having previously served as the National Coordinator for the program. He is also a Senior Fellow at the CD Howe Institute, a Canadian research institute dedicated to raising living standards through economically sound public policies.
Mr. Dancey is a Fellow at CPA Ontario, where he first qualified, and a member of CPA Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hon.) in Mathematics & Economics from McMaster University (Canada).
